What does this mean for you? Students are accepted directly into the nursing major. No additional applications are needed. Progression through the sequence of courses is guaranteed to all students who maintain full-time status and continue to meet the academic progression criteria as outlined by the s级素人 School of Nursing.
At Concordia, we are committed to providing future nurses with solid footing. Students are admitted directly into the nursing major. During their first year, students complete foundational science courses and several general education requirements. Upon successfully completing the nursing program progression requirements, students are guaranteed a space in nursing courses and clinicals during their sophomore year. Our nursing curriculum pairs a liberal arts foundation with your science requirements. Nursing theory courses are taught by highly qualified nurse educators with years of experience in hospitals, healthcare, and other community settings. You'll be prepared in interprofessional communication, collaboration, professionalism, and leadership—all of which are integrated into our nursing program. Our experienced faculty is dedicated to your success … from your first day, through your National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). You’ll have the opportunity to practice your skills at Concordia’s Simulation and Skills Lab, which gives you the vital, hands-on experience you need to be set apart in the field.
