Our Vision
Effective communication is essential for meaningful, productive relationships. With a Mass Communication degree from Concordia, you’ll develop your media writing and production skills as well as speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills for effective face-to-face and digital communication to navigate interpersonal, professional, and group interactions. This program blends theory and practical experience with a strong liberal arts education all within a Christian worldview.

Expectations
The program provides a wide-range of courses, allowing you to become a well-rounded communicator. All students take courses focusing on interpersonal communication, mediated communication and mass communication effects. The program requires a minor, allowing students to dig deeper into the mass communication specialization they want to pursue.
Students complete 48 credits in the major and an 18-24-credit minor. The department requires 120 total credits to graduate.
